Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Eve Cunningham, MD, MBA, is a prominent physician executive, entrepreneur, and digital health innovator with over two decades of experience designing and scaling advanced clinical operating models. She currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMIO) at Cadence, a remote patient care delivery organization where she spearheads the continuous care infrastructure for national chronic disease management. Dr. Cunningham is also the founder of MedPearl, an AI-assisted and EMR-integrated clinical decision support platform that she incubated while serving as the Group Vice President and Chief of Virtual Care and Digital Health at Providence. At Providence, she led nine enterprise virtual care service lines—including hospital-at-home and virtual nursing initiatives—and successfully grew MedPearl until its acquisition in January 2026. A board-certified OB/GYN, she maintains her clinical practice on a contract basis with Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, where she previously held multiple leadership roles, including Division Chief of Women’s, Children’s, Virtual, and Prompt Care Services. Dr. Cunningham also contributes widely to industry discourse as a contracted healthcare writer for Forbes, covering women's health and clinical technology transformation.
