Over a distinguished multi-decade career, Dr. Rice has secured more than $16.5 million in research and educational funding from agencies like the NIH, HRSA, and PCORI, with a particular focus on addressing psychiatric workforce shortages, leveraging distance-education technology for rural healthcare, and preventing suicide among non-VA-connected veterans.
