Patrick Baker

Patrick Baker is a healthcare executive, entrepreneur, and retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who brings over 30 years of clinical and administrative leadership to the field of patient safety. He is the Founder and CEO of Palarum, LLC, a healthcare technology firm dedicated to optimizing patient mobility, preventing hospital falls, and delivering measurable cost savings to healthcare providers through advanced wearable technology and analytic solutions. Prior to launching Palarum in 2017, Baker built a distinguished executive career in hospital administration, notably serving as the Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at UC Health's West Chester Hospital, where he was named the national Healthcare Executive of the Year in 2011. His civilian leadership is deeply informed by a 25-year military tenure as a Medical Service Corps (MSC) Executive Officer in the U.S. Air Force and Ohio Air National Guard, which included a six-month deployment to Joint Base Balad in Iraq.
