Jennifer Mueller

Jennifer Laughlin Mueller (MBA, RHIA, SHIMSS, FACHE, FAHIMA) is an executive healthcare leader and health information technology strategist currently serving as Senior Vice President at the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA). With extensive expertise spanning health IT, privacy, analytics, and clinical workflows, she previously served as Vice President and Privacy Officer at the Wisconsin Hospital Association Information Center (WHAIC) and spent 13 years as a hospital Vice President and Chief Information Officer, where she spearheaded digital transformations and electronic health record adoption. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with both a bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management and an MBA, Mueller is a Past President of AHIMA, a two-time President of the Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA), and an award-winning industry advocate dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals and leveraging health data to improve patient outcomes nationwide.
